Ben Woodeson

biography

Ben Woodeson makes work that deliberately sets out to confront the viewer and challenge the exhibiting institution. Using everyday objects and modular materials he creates works that randomly spin, roll, wobble, fall, flick, collapse, shatter and even ignite. Unsurprisingly his studio is full of dangerous stuff that frequently goes bang.

Woodeson studied at Glasgow School of Art and is the grandson of the German Jewish artist Jack Bilbo. He lives and works in London.
